Photography in Surrey

I have known Nick for years and have been his portrait photographer in Surrey twice.

In 2019, Nick wanted some corporate headshots to promote his events held in Vancouver through his events company, Meeple Leaf.

The photo shoot was done in his house in Surrey, near White Rock. He wanted it done in the room where he taught his students. We did the headshot using a white wall as a backdrop in a small room.

The portraits of him and his pets were done for Meeple Leaf, and since Meeple Leaf was in the entertainment business, naturally, some levity works.

In the pictures, you see Lemon the ferret and Pie the cat. Pie passed away shortly after the photo shoot and these will always serve as a memory.

In 2020, Nick started another business. He needed new business headshots that were much more formal.

This time, I brought all my photo gear including flashes and black and white backdrops, but we ended up using a white wall for a backdrop, again. If it ain't broke...

His new business, Focus Language Coaching, teaches foreign students English through videoconferencing.

Nick has an incredible talent in language learning with his unique methods. He has a Masters in Chinese Linguistics and can speak Vietnamese, French, Spanish and more.
